The Beginning
A new year, a new you – a better you – a hopeful you. At the beginning of a new year, I like to look back at what’s transpired and what changes I’ve made. Have I made progress in my life or not? I make sort of a comparison of who I was yesterday to who I am today. Some people say to be happy with who you are. I say to be happy with the potential of who you can be. Potential and hope for the best version of yourself. With a new year is newfound hope in the air of what can be, and living up to all the potential we see for ourselves. We all know that sometimes it’s not such an easy feat to achieve. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle requires real discipline and motivation – it requires forming the right habits and a focused mindset. Sometimes we all need someone to help us pave the way to lead a healthy and fulfilled life. If you put in the work with us then we promise we’ll show you how you can achieve whatever your goals may be. However, we don’t offer any quick fixes or some kind of magic pill, so to speak. For long-term success, you get what you put in and you have to put in the work.
2016 has started off on a high note for me. I am excited to open another personal training and group fitness business which I plan to continue when I open a studio in the not too distant future. My true passion is in personal training and working with people to make improvements in their lives. At this time, Busy Bee’s main focus will be on fat loss. In the last year, I have worked with multiple sclerosis (MS) personal training clients that have helped shape my perspective. There is nothing better than getting people results, just seeing the passion and hard work that goes into it and the transformation along the way is absolutely priceless! There’s nothing more satisfying when someone “gets it” and when they get to that point where they can’t wait for their next workout.
As some of you may know, I’m not really a fitness blog kind of guy. When I think of fitness blogs I think of tired and fleeting inspirational memes, “scientific” information that seems to change every month and juiced up guys pushing all kinds of crazy products. I’m going to try to keep this blog as original and informative as possible. I also plan to use this as a way of sharing my own progress with everyone and offering honest, useful tips.
